My goal was simple: Hit one or two buckets of balls every single day. After lots of open blisters batting gloves were required just to keep sores from building up.
Every few weeks, my gloves would wear out. Holes. Rips. Blisters. Bleeding hands. I spent all my money replacing gloves that couldn’t keep up with the work I was putting in or were too expensive to continue to purchase. It was frustrating and expensive.
Inspiration starts with a swing
After burning through glove after glove and watching my hands take the damage, I finally saved up for a premium pair made from real leather. They weren’t cheap, it took months of saving every dollar I could. When they came, I loved them! I always took really good care of them and made sure they lasted as long as possible.
When I wore them out and started to consider buying another pair, I learned about the guy who created them. He was a young athlete like me, frustrated with cheap gear that couldn’t keep up. His story lit a fire in me. If he could build something better, maybe I could, too.

We built something better, for less
With help from my dad and my friend Cody, we set out to create gloves that were as good, if not better than the ones that inspired us. We talked to suppliers around the world. We tested samples. We fixed tiny design flaws. We obsessed over every stitch and seam.
